Status Quo used to play in many short concerts (30 - 40 minutes long) as a supported band in these years , playing songs like Pictures Of Matchstick Men  (included sometimes on medleys in 90´s and complete version in 1999) , Paradise Flats , Ice In The Sun , Jailhouse Rock , Hush , Lucille , Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds , Hold On I´m Coming , You Keep Me Hanging On ,  Louie Louie, Gimme Some Lovin´, etc, most of them played linked in a Rock n Roll medley

Junior´s Wailing
A Classic played since 1970 to 1977 to open the Quo shows.
This song is played sometimes nowadays on medleys and in a short and slighly version as an encore.
Spinning Wheel Blues
There are some live versions of this one but from TV shows. Any from live gigs.
In fact , there are no known bootlegs from 1970 live shows
April Spring Summer And Wednesdays
Same as Spinning Wheel Blues , but played regulary on 1970 Tour
Is It Really Me ? Gotta Go Home
This song contained many parts that later were included on 4500 Times in their live versions.
This song could be 30 minutes long , like the Weeley Festival version in 1971. Played regulary till 1973.

DOG OF TWO HEAD  (1971)

Played even before the band recorded the song in 1971 and drpped from the set list in 1972.
Mean Girl
Used as an encore till 1975 due to that PYE Records released the song in many formats ,
even in single in 1973 hitting the Top 20 in the UK charts on February. Played occasionally on medleys in the late 90´s.
Gerdundula
Played live many times till 1976 and  on  90´s as well . Alan used to play the lead guitar with Francis live.
From 94 Andy Bown and Rhino play acoustic guitars. Included in the 99 Tour
Railroad
Till 1975 complete with Bob Young on harmonica and used in Medleys (medleys were suggested by Alan Lancaster) since 1984
Someone´s Learning
Second song from the set list on the Dog Tour and played till 1974
Nanana
There are no known bootlegs that contained this song but it was played many times with different longer versions depending on the crowd around 1971

Another live classic. One of the songs that Quo has played since its release till nowadays
Big Fat Mama
A classic in the 70´s but dropped around 1988 . Recovered later around 2001 tour till 2005 and included on a new medley in 2006
Paper Plane
Played on the Piledriver Tour and dropped till 1984 , played again  for the End Of The Road Tour.
Usually they play the song nowadays (second song on 99 Tour) and it was used to open shows in 1996
Roadhouse Blues
Another classic but non-Quo track. Dropped in 1998 but played regulary. Sang by Alan , harp by Bob Young and replace by Rick on vocals and Andy on harp (first time he played harmonica live was in 89). Originally by The Doors

There were another songs planned to be included on live such as Unspoken Words (probably played live)
and A Year , in a more rock version, never played. All The Reasons was played by Rick in many soundchecks around 72.

More classics.... played live always but there were some 90 shows where the band dropped from the set list.
Claudie
This was a song played many times between 1973 and 1975.A favourite to all the old Quo members .
Rick talked to Francis on 90 to re played live but till today , they have no played it

What can we say! Always played live. Played as the opener song since 1977, a few times changed (as the opener) in 90´s
Softer Ride
I don´t know any bootleg from 70´s  where this song was played , only BBC Sessions.
Played live at the end of  90´s as a second song from set lists and played sometimes in 1999.
Andy played the acoustic guitar live on this one.
Forty - Five Hundred Times
One of the fav songs from the fans. It contains maany parts that were originally played live in Is It Really Me? Gotta Go Home , even the instrumental part of Gotta Go Home. Sometimes it could be near 30 minutes long .They dropped it (why?) in themiddle of  90´s and due to popular demands , was played again in 1999 but with a veeery short  version.......

QUO (1974)

Backwater
A Classic again . One of the favourite songs from the band intented to be the single in 1974.
Played live till 1984 and in 90´s sung by Rick.
Just Take Me
Great song played till 1977 , dropped till 1984 for the End Of The Road Tour  and played by Pete Kircher and dropped again .
Don´t know any version with Jeff Rich on drums.
Slow Train
Only played on medleys since 1984 (one of the middle sections of the song) and never played live complete.
There is a rumour that says the song was played only on soundchecks around 1974/75.
Break The Rules
Played only on medleys and only a part of the song (included at the end of 80´s), and never played complete live.
In 00´s the song was played almost complete (no intro and  a short version ).
There are a few bootlegs with the guitar solo, then dropped and played just piano and Harmonica solos.
In Knebworth concert you can hear Rick saying I like this one....
Don´t Think It Matters
Great song played a few times at the beginning of the "Quo" 74 Tour, later dropped

This song was intented to be included on the On The Level album but it was no finished. Released as a single in 1976 and played regulary even nowadays to start the encore show.

Played live sometimes during the Blue For You Tour. There are no know bootlegs that contained this song played live
Mystery Song
Played live as well in the Blue For You Tour. There are no know bootlegs that contained this song played live from 70´s  so I don´t know if they have played the song complete these days. Used as a first song for a medley since 1984.

A little part of the song was included live in 4500 Times since 1981 and played almost complete in some shows from the late 90´s linking it with a medley. Dropped later.

Anniversary Waltz
Since 1990 they play this song mixing  a lot of old rock n roll songs in a medley. They included a varity of songs that have change all over the years such as the same songs of the original  singles versions and others like Batman Tell Me What I Said , Whole Lotta Shakin´, etc.
Usually played as the end song of the shows with Bye Bye Johnny as the last one.
Living Doll
Played as a part of the Anniversary waltz and occassionally in a complete version since 1998
